Well way do you need a fan controller? The 230mm's are already at 700 rpm, unless you replaced them with 120"s?

The sentry is more for looks than anything else. A cheapo Zalman controller would do a far better job.

I'd only pick up a fan controller if you were replacing all the fans with 120mm fans. For example, putting4 120mm on the side, 3 on top and i think 2 up front.

I can advise against the Kaze master. It was a great fan controller.......when it worked. I had to RMA mine to Newegg 3 times, the last time I just got my money back.

All 3 times the 3rd fan port would just die after a while. Also the RPM readings would not work if I cranked the fans up to full speed. It would just flash 000 RPM.

This is the fan controller I am using in my PC right now. I have 6 high performance fans hooked up to it and it is running them flawlessly.

^ That Zalman is the same one I'm using in my Antec 900. It works great except for the LED lights, which don't work on mine.

That's a shame. The LED's on mine work. Also I have one installed in my GF's rig, and while I only have 4 fans hooked up to that one, they all work too. Now I did at once have some crappy fan with a 4-pin molex connector, I used an adapter and of course the LED did not work, but other than that it has worked just fine.

That must be why then. All the fans in an Antec 900 have molex connections and require adapters to connect to the controller.

Yup, that would be why. You need a three pin all the way from the fan to the controller. Two wires for power, the third wire is the RPM sensor. It will still control the amount of power going to then fan, but just can tell it's RPM.
