[QUOTE="ferrari2001"]lol, Team Fortress 2 on the PS3.. Steam games should be played first and foremost on the PC. TF2 is not only visually superior but it just feels more natural playing with a mouse and keyboard rather than a controller. I also think the community is immensely better on PC than it is on either console. JKnaperek
The community isn't any better on PC. 99% of people with mics shouldn't have them because they are being abused way too much. I have to mute nearly everyone in nearly every match I ever play on numerous servers. Sometimes muting isn't enough so they resort to the text box dialog for spamming ignorance. It's a real shame that the online gaming communtiy as a whole is not capable of holding themselves to a higher standard of individuals. The first development team that incorporates incentives for not abusing mic privileges will be held to the highest regard.
That said, there are definately a few people I've met on TF2 that are extremely enjoyable mates to game with, But for every decent cool person, you have to sift through about 50 horrible people.
It depends entirely on what server you join. If you're going into fast respawn servers, then you're probably going to find a lot of annoying people. If you join regular servers, there's a lot more cool people on them.
And TC, it takes a while. Scout is very dependant on aim, so if you're good at fps games you could be him. For soldier, aim for the enemies feet to pop them in the air. Demoman, use mostly stickies. Only use pipes if the enemies are close. You could try being medic, just uber a demoman most of the time. Heavy is pretty easy, you just gotta watch out for spies and snipers. For pyro, you have to try and reflect rockets and such back at the enemy. Sniper's pretty easy to understand, and for spy knowing the maps is very important. Engineer can be pretty fun if you be offensive with the wrangler. Otherwise, just build stuff around where other engineers build stuff and watch out for spies. If there's more than just you on engineer, help each other out. One level three sentry is way better than two level one sentries.
