Hey guys just wondering how well Oblivion runs on PC compared to 360, I have the 360 version and just finished building my PC and would love to get back into the game. My question is, should I just play the 360 version or is the framerate better on a good PC, plus are mods like "natural enviorments" and stuff worth the 20 $$$?

You will need a good pc to get good frames in Oblivion, and there are a lot of more mods and customizations in the pc version.

I never noticed a differance in FPS until I downloaded OOO, a HUGE overhaul to the game. But I think they're close. I also think the mods are worth it because without the mods, 360 or PC, the game falls flat. It NEEDS the mods.

yea I know I can run Oblivion (I can run crysis on high settings) so I'm pretty sure I should be good.

If you have a decent rig, then you'll get better visuals and framerate on PC. Lots of great mods too. PC-version is definitely the superior to the 360-/PS3-versions. If you want to play it one more time, go ahead, but I'd rather replay Morrowind or Gothic 2 (& 3). With mods.

If you can run Crysis on high, you'll get better frame rate and better visuals on PC. And you'll get mods, oh the lovely mods.

The PC version is way way way better than the 360 version because of one thing:mods You can pretty much change it into an entirely different game with mods and its awesome.
