I have the version of the g5 with just 1 side button. The side button seems to be the default for voice chat in this game. I have voice set to "v" in the game, but when I press the side button, it still goes to voice chat. How do I turn that off? I've tried disabling voice chat in game, but when I press the side button, it gets enabled again. I want to use the side button for ventrillo and not for in game voice chat in tf2.

if you installed the software that came with it open it up and check the button settings as it may be set wrongly and have it set as "key press" with the key being "V" hence every time you press it your essencially pressing another V key.

Or if you havent installed the software then do so and you can change all the settings that way

I had the software installed. It's always been set as "generic button".

before you start up tf2 go to your steam settings and in there you can set the voice button.

I just set my side button to something I rarely/never use, swim down. That seems to work.
