Which do you prefer?

CSS, because it's where all true warriors like me play at. TF2 requires noob stuff like teamwork, and people who are not pro at FPS can kill, which is unnaceptable. If you find some1 who sucks at CSS, they can't kill crap, but in noob tf2 they can.
I accidentally voted for CSS, but I prefer TF2 because it emphasizes more teamwork and one weapon can't tackle every situation like it can in CSS.
At first I preferred TF2, but after they flooded the game with way too many items and took away the simplicity of it, I prefer CSS. Once you start playing CSS with mods you can't get enough.HotFemaleEw, stock CSS is the way to go.

I guess TF2, although I really don't like either of them. You should add Day of Defeat: Source to the list.
except for the fact that the best weapons are still the vanilla, save for a few that dont change the game much (boxing gloves, kritz builder melee weapons, and the pickax)Team Fortress 2 was the better game before Valve ruined it with weapons that unbalance the game.
Whiteblade999
TF2 all the way. CS/CSS was good in its day but now its just too old of a FPS, too basic and boring. Who gets the first headshot? 90% of the kills in that game are headshots, never aim for the body.

Thats actually what so many people love about CSS. Its not about holding down trigger like say Cod or something but understanding Map design, gun recoil, and aiming. Personally, I will always have a higher standard for a game that rewards good gameplay as opposed to die, respawn run out over and over.
Regardless, these are 2 completely type of games to even be considered.

It's extremely balanced except a few like Natascha and Gunslinger. And if you play in competitive leagues, they ban those weapons.
I like tf2 better, but they're both amazing games. This is basically asking what type of game you prefer, not which is better.
TF2 is fun so i like that more than counter-strike.
counter-strike is also a great game and it is very competitive. its all about skill. it doesn't rely on loadouts, perks or whatever. it's all on the player's skill.
Man... you are so cool...CSS, because it's where all true warriors like me play at. TF2 requires noob stuff like teamwork, and people who are not pro at FPS can kill, which is unnaceptable. If you find some1 who sucks at CSS, they can't kill crap, but in noob tf2 they can.

I used to be able to say that if you wanted a fun, balanced, team-oriented experience, play tf2...but it's gone waaaaay too casual .If you consider running around with items (a LOT of items) that just don't even fit the core design of the game, play tf2. Can't deny that there's a lot of content, but it seems it was all tastelessly thrown into the game. Plus, if you want a really, reaaaaaally silly time you can do it better in real life. It's not just laidback...it's random and stupid.
CSS is too boring. I hope there won't be any sequel to that crap unless they do a complete overhaul to the gameplay that doesn't cater to elitist and whatnot.

[QUOTE="JigglyWiggly_"]Man... you are so cool... He is, he's too cool to keep it cool and yes corpseman, teamwork is a noob thing to do, you don't need to interact with people, you don't even have to think about anything, you enter the game, choose a map and kill people, you and your gun, needing anything else is just noobish, that being said, I prefer TF 2 over CS:S since it's fun, you play it to fool around, not to kill others and ignore everything else just because CS:S has no sense of teamwork and doesn't make you feel like you're part of a squad or that you actually have players besides you on your team, but at the same time I hate TF 2, they ruined it a long time ago.CSS, because it's where all true warriors like me play at. Actually a lot of people do hold down the mouse and spray, especially with the m4a1.. and they get head shots. This is the problem, css is a good game which i play almost everyday, but it wasn't like 1.6, where the hitboxes were better and you couldn't just get random headshots..Both. If I had to choose one then it would have to be TF2.
TF2 has been on my computer since it launched and I don't think I will ever uninstall it. Same with CS:S these are just games that will always has a place on my pc.
Team Fortress 2.
The way they changed the shooting mechanic from 1.6 feels weird and I seriously hate the fact that I can pump an entire M4 clip into a terroist yet he shoots me in the body once and kills me. Dying in Team Fortress 2 atleast feels like "hey I ****ed up big-time" rather than "WHAT THE **** HIT DETECTION?"
[QUOTE="THA-TODD-BEAST"]Natasha disagrees. They completely nerfed the natasha recently.I accidentally voted for CSS, but I prefer TF2 because it emphasizes more teamwork and one weapon can't tackle every situation like it can in CSS.

I really like TF2 because I like the team-based strategies that you must apply; it's not just an army of one like CSS.
