So far there is 3 classes that can obtain weapon upgrades, Medic, Pyro and Heavy. There's 3 upgrades for each class. To get the first upgrade you have to earn 10 acheivements, then 16, then 22. Hope this answers your question. =)
For medic you have to get all of the achievements, not just 22. Unless they changed it, but that's how it was when the update came out.User10293
It's better to give no advice than false advice man, you have to get 22 achivements for each class to get the classes unlockables (approximately 8 achievements gets you 1 unlock)

He wasn't giving false advice dude. When it came out you needed all of the achievements to unlock so ya .... since he last played he is correct. Don't bash him for something he couldn't know changed, just correct him....

I don't mean to be a jerk or anything, but they updated the medic thing like 3 days after the pyro achivements came out..he had to know
