The Beauty of PlanetSide 2

Since the latest nVidia beta drivers, I keep finding myself looking at the game a lot more (as opposed to actually 'playing' the game) so I felt compelled to make this tribute to the work of the SOE developers.

Wonder what took them so long to make a planetside 2..They new it would always sell..Played the heck out of the first one awhile ago..Man i remember when the first one launched back in the days of playing everquest live..

Planetside 2 lookg great..Love how the game looks..Is it fluid..Been out for awhile now..

Yea, there have been a few, but with the Physx added back in, I thought that one showcasing those effects. The lighting in PS2 is just so good. Night fights are so distracting and I get killed a lot from looking at the lighting.

Yeah it's one extremely pretty game

Wow never really noticed how amazing it actually looks until now. Just need a gpu that can actually handle it on max.

I have a 670FTW and I can play on max but during big fights my FPS will dip to 25-30 fps, which to me is unplayable. This game seems way to CPU intensive.

The game is more CPU heavy, and with the one in your signature, you will be fine. I have the same CPU, but at clock speeds.

Yes, they have been in the game for as long as I think it has existed. If there was a time in the beta that they didn't exist, then that's news to me. The infiltrators have the sniper rifles, can temporarily cloak, hack enemy terminals/turrets, and fire motion sensors.

I made a thread not long ago bringing up how good this game looked and everyone bashed it.

What happened other than a few cool particle effects? :P

I tried the beta but 20fps is unplayable.

Despite what JigglyWiggly said, I think it runs fine. I have an i5 2500k at stock speeds and a 560 Ti 2win, I always play on ultra, and I leave the Physx on while playing. With all that, I still get around 50fps in most battles.

I still don't see the appeal with the graphics and visuals.. Maybe less bloom would make it look a lot better. I'm indifferent on this.Elann2008

Yea, I hate bloom and I wish so much that they gave us the option to disable.
