The best game out there...is the one you enjoy playing the most, and that changes from person to person. Which is why there are so many genres and sub-genres. Some games are like Marmite: you either love them or hate them. So there is no 'best game' except those you enjoy the most. Popularity is no measure of quality, and quality is no guarantee of success.

Best game definately F.E.A.R. but I would not have answered that the first time I played through it, thought it was pretty basic but then in a moment of boredness played from the start and appreciated what a well crafted game it is. BTW the PES series gets better and better every year, gameplay is king not flashy GFX.

I know, its amazing aint it? I figured someone would have said that 2nd or 3rd, however it came in after the 15th post I think thats a record, but I would say that is the worst PC Game personally, too many people, they messed up PvP, and it overall isn't that fun. Half-Life 2 FTW!!!
