Can you guys suggest me the cheapest laptop that can run World of Warcraft on maximum settings please? And be aware that in the next expansion the graphics might go up a little, at least on the new zones.

But I prefer a laptop because I travel a lot, and when I travel big distances the laptop really proves itself useful.

i3 would normally be fine 4gb+ is good. i was maxing WoW on a desktop with a dual core and a gpu inferior to a gtx 460m @ 1440 x 900 just prior to cataclysm's launch. i was avging 45fps in dungeons and 16-man raids. in 32-man raids my fps was sitting closer to 37.5fps avg. if you dropped it down to high (the diff between high and max is minor) you could easily hit 60fps in dungeons and zones. and 40ish fps in 32-man raids
