Don't buy Halo 3 unless you really like Backstreet Boys...because everyone knows that copies sold is directly equivalent to the greatness of the item being sold.
That review just sums it all up and makes your day :D That's why i buy Halo games for PC...now multiplayer fee, the core game costs less, and there aren't 10 year old fanboys running around the maps with rockets and snipers 8)

haha exactly. Though I'll admit I enjoy Halo 3 for playing together with friends. Not much more than that though.
Donsn't anyone else think its pathetic that,with all the hype,resources,manpower and next-gen technology thats gone into making this game,Bungie STILL ,three games in, hasn't fixed the retarded friendly A.I.I thought that was what the next-gen was all about;immersing yourself in completely believable and realistic world.How am I going to do that when my allies are shooting thin air and driving jeeps into walls.
P.S I love how in the GS review of Halo 3,they mentioned the poor AI of your teamates as if it was some small unimportant part of the game,and then proceeded to give the game a 9.5.
I fail to see what makes this guy such a great critic, other than the fact that he bashed Halo. All he does is insult every flaw that he can find in a game, then hand down an overall decision that seems completely unrelated to the rest of the review. Look at the Psychonauts review. He reams it for every flaw he can find, lists three positives without any real explanation, and declares that anyone who doesn't buy the game is an idiot who doesn't understand what a good game is.
He also managed to make System Shock 2 (a game widely considered to be one of the greatest) sound like a horrible game in an attempt to bash Bioshock.

i reckon half the comedy is in how fast he talks, etc. i really, really, don't think he's setting out to properly review a game like gamespot or pc gamer, etc, like evenly talking about the good and bad points and all that. all the bashing he does on all the great games he reviews is purely for fun.
i LOVE bioshock, i honestly think it's one of the best three games EVER made, but his review was hi-LAR-ious...imo...

because the escapist's reviews are simply awesome, nothing more to it. far too mature for console kiddies ;) The Bioshock review is my favorite. This one isn't that bad either, but it could have been better if he talked about the multiplayer.
That video made me LOL.(in a good way) Although the reviewer points out some really good flaws with halo, he seems to have completely forgotten about the MP, simply because he's not a MP gamer. To me that's not being fair at all. It's like reviewing battlefield 2 and saying that you don't care for the MP s imply because you don't like MP games. Then why are you reviewing it?
Although I do agree that compared to PC titles halo is pretty much an above average shooter, but as a console FPS it's an undeniably great game, with a solid FPS SP campaign to boot.

I actually thought he made System Shock sound pretty good. He more or less mentioned that Bioshock was prettier, and that was about it.

system shock 2 is in my opinion the greatest game ever made, but it has flaws - and he points them out... nothing wrong with that, as far as i'm concerned... i don't think he made shock 2 sound bad at all, if anything, i imagine he would inspire people to check the game out after - or hopefully instead of - playing bioshock
Even though this guy sounds like a real prick the review made me laugh, even though i really like halo, and all you PC fanboys who dont can suck it, but anyways funny review
