the fastest is probably an alienware but it's gonna be pricy. one with good specs for the price would be an asus with a gtx 260.

Nope not if he is looking for a $1500 priced laptop. OP look up the Asus G73JH way better than a Alienware M17X or M15X. Plus it has DX11 with a 5870 core i7 6b ram etc.

yeah but the i5 is more than sufficient for gaming, someone on here could build you a monster for that kinda cash, but it being a laptop, it wont hold a candle to what a desktop will do, and it will prlly be harder to upgrade yourself if you so choose........

Here's my suggestion. Get a decent netbook for portability, for about $300. Spend the other $1500 on a powerful Desktop rig. Or get a m11x for ~$900 (pick mostly the best options, but probably stick with 4gb RAM) and the rest on a pretty strong desktop build. I thought I really really wanted a gaming laptop, so I begged my parents o get it for me as a Christmas gift. When I got it I was super happy, and then I started noticing i had to click a few settings down a notch on newer games. And there was nothing I could do about it.

like i said id just pick some parts and build it yourself, itll be better and cheaper in the long run, but you could do an ebay search or try cyperpowerpc or ibuypower and post what you find, we will let you know........
