I've never done that with a game, but one time I installed a TV tuner that I had just bought and was searching for hours for the drivers for it. After a couple hours of searching, it turned out the card had no Vista drivers. I was so furious that I just picked up my keyboard and threw it (it's an old crappy one so I didn't care about it much), but now I have a medium sized dent on the top of my pc case.
So now I stick the computer way underneath my desk in case i decide to go into another rage :)
I'd never lay a hand on my hardware. If you do, you are the reason ppl think games make you violent. The_PC_Gamer
please, if you break your computer, then you won't have a computer to play with, and hence you're not under the influence of pc games any longer, so that breaks the cycle of computer games causing violence in people. taking out your frustrations on your pc is a valid form of stress relief and makes the world a safer place. :)
Suprisingly a pc game has never made me do that only consol games and as most people do i threw the controler a few times but now as the game companies figure out that gamers do not want to start the whole level again after they die it hasnt happen for quite awhile.
I'm more prone to get slightly buggered on the consoles. It's been a decreasing "problem" over the years, I'm finally starting to calm down :P
Gothic 3. The bugs made me mental after 50 hours. You don't want to know what happened to the disc.RK-Mara
Touche. Never again will I play this game, the things it made my do was really ugly.
=(
I've destroyed some controllers on some of my old consoles when I was younger. I've learned to contain my rage until I have something less expensive in my hands. I've never touched my PC though.
I do get pretty mad when playing TF2 and a spy backstabs me, or when I get killed multiple times by criticals (I once went an entire match where I only got killed by crits. Every time I saw an enemy, he would hit me with a crit rocket, grenade, fire, or many bullets. It was so infuriating.).
No game, ever. No matter how buggy, frustrating, or generally annoying a game is, I never hit any part of my computer  I would usually let lose a string of cuss words as long as my vocabulary would allow, and my fling my arms through the air, but I think that hitting something that you paid for, and therefore risk damaging it, just because you're momentarily frustrated is stupid =/MasterYevon
I laughed cause it sounds exactly like me
AGK NICE!!!i saw this on youtube. pretty funny. a kid upset with unreal tournament not loading, i think...

Ounce I couldn't find a linux printer driver and I through my pc across the room. I also got angry playing runesacpe, realizing I wasted 1 hour of my life fot that piece of crap.
You know what makes me REAL mad?
Poorly programmed stuff, glitches/bugs that annoys you to death and that the programmers are obvioulsy not smart enough to fix.
We have the perfect exemple right here - Gamespot forum.
Yes, this forums makes me mad, very mad.
We can type are whole message in quick quote, try to post it and.. apparently my message was blank, or worst I wasn't logged in(but yet I still have the option to quick quote) and I have to type my message all over again.
Let's not forget when you hit the "Submit" button, get an ad and your message doesn't get posted.
People that release crap like that makes me real mad and if I were to encounter them in real life, they would end up in the hospital badly injured.
It may not be the best way, but we need to show these kind of people that we won't allow them to release unfinished crap and get away with it.
