I was wondering if this game was worth my time. How long is the campaign? Is the story any good?

its a jrpg so it'll take awhile and that means that it'll have a good story too and its hard in places
- Great graphics
- Good music
- Fun Combat
- Long game in length
- Optimized very well, no technical issues
Its a bit hard the game, but if you stick with it youll hav a good time. The voice acting isnt the best and some of the characters are generic but its overall a fun game. Well worth 9$ imo.
This and Great Story too. It's really worth it imo.- Great graphics

There was another thread asking the same question earlier today.
Lets just say that I agree with what kozzy said. =)
it was ok at first but, became boring and a chore later on. Combat just isn't very fun. Side quests are boring. Story was ok for the amount that I played. The lack of control in combat killed it for me. Played up to the point where I had 3 full groups.
True. Music and Story is the best in Final Fantasy aswell as many Square Enix Games. Its a neat new style of Japanese RPG. Graphics are splendid along with the music giving a beautiful hint of final fantasy into it. The PC version also fixed many issues from the ps3 one so it should be great game.
I played anywais.

Being a lifelong FF fan, I found the combat to be a bit weird to begin with (the first introduction battle is especially off-putting), but you do get used to it. Other than that, it is typical Square fare. It feels more like FF 12 than anything, I must admit, but it is very well done indeed...
You might find Steam to be a bit of a nightmare if you don't already use it.
It's an OK game. The combat system is pretty original although needs a bit more work in some areas. The main decisions have to be made before going into battle - choosing the correct formations, squad composition, etc. but the stuff you can do during combat is limited, which may turn off some people. The game itself is huge (many optional areas, quests, characters to recruit, etc.). It does get somewhat repetitive after some time. The story is dumb and nonsensical (it's a JRPG, duh) but the setting is pretty cool.
I liked FF7,8 and 9 but they had character and I loved their style. However since the PS2 and FF10 they just feel so generic and I don't have fun playing them. It's hard to explain what them PS FF games have but they just feel so much better than anything they've done since. They feel a lot more cinematic and innovative as well like the opening of FF9 was the most epic thing.
