How about Dungeon Keeper 1 and 2? That's assuming you can get them running. No luck so far here with 64-bit Win 7.
Diablo 2! I personally don't play it too often but its still a great game with low graphics. Warcraft 3 is another great game. Doesn't seem too demanding for a netbook.. but you MIGHT have problems. My friends laptop ran it fine and my sisters did too, but the frame rate did decrease when we destroying bases. SLUSHiNaToRWhat this guy said! Also, Counter-Strike Source and 1.6!
Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. Any computer from the last 5 years can run it, and it will give you literally hundreds of hours of gameplay for only $20
Funny you mentioned that, my gf actually has dungeon keeper 1, so I may just try that one out. And looks quite fun i might add, but reminds me of many other RTS that i already play, we'll see if i can fit this one in. But willing to give it a try since I like the fact that you can go from 3rd person to first person. How about Dungeon Keeper 1 and 2? That's assuming you can get them running. I'll def give it a shot, especially since there seems to be a trial version of it. As far as Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, i'm not really interested in playing an RPG, but thanks for the suggestions. Keep the suggestions coming, i really enjoy seeing what kind of games I can put on this tiny computer.Plants vs. Zombies, is a great fun game, and useful for wasting time.

Yeah, you would think so, but my computer just didn't like it. Might be the hardware or something. I did everything imaginable to try and get it playable. I would get 100 fps while strafing in the north direction, but as soon as i turned and tried to run forward in that direction, instant 12 fps or less. Pretty weird, but it's ok, im over it now :). Hmm, mafia looks interesting, but my computer barfs on big outdoor levels, but i might give it a try. Especially since there is a demohalf life should work. it works on my little laptop. i also recommend quake 2.

Steam has the non-Source version too. These are the requirements for the original on Steam.
Minimum:500 mhz processor, 96mb ram, 16mb video card, Windows 2000/XP, Mouse, Keyboard, Internet Connection
Recommended:800 mhz processor, 128mb ram, 32mb+ video card, Windows 2000/XP, Mouse, Keyboard, Internet Connection
I don't know if the Paradox stuff (Hearts of Iron II, Crusader Kings etc.) will work or if you're into that kinda stuff, but if you are, thats couple hundred hours down the drain.
Also,
Patrician 3 (trading sim)
Sacred Gold (Diablo style hack and slash-my personal favorite)
Port Royale 2 (Caribbean trading sim and ship combat)
Knights of Honor (grand strategy cum RTS-think total war)
Depths of Peril (never tried it, but heard good things)
Torchlight supposedly has a netbook mode, but I've never tried it. Seems pretty intensive to me though.
Well, I guess I should narrow down what I am looking for.
I wouldn't mind FPS with good single player campaigns, whoever mentioned no one lives forever hit it dead on
I also like puzzle/shooter games.
Not really interested in RPGs or sim games, I just can't get into them. But thanks for the suggestions, If I change my mind i'll come back and check out the ones you mentioned
Well in that case check out System Shock 2.Well, I guess I should narrow down what I am looking for.

I have the original unreal tournament, and there were only 10 people on all of the servers, haha. But I think it is still playable in that they weren't super good or anything.I vote if you're going to recommend an old multiplayer game that it still has to have a considerable amount of players in the community or else the recommendation is useless. Anyhow, I vote Half life, Blue shift, Opposing Force, Counter strike 1.6.
-Origin-
Crysis...... :P I would try Shogun total war or Oni (since they haven't been mention yet)zerosaber456Well, I tried Crysis and it worked really well on ultra graphics, but I just didn't find the campaign all that interesting..... :p
Doom
Grab Doom and Doom 2, then a copy of ZDoom to enable higher resolutions, mouselook, jumping, crouching, and custom key-binding, then a free copy of Doom Builder 2 so that you can begin crafting your own experiences through vanilla mapping and even scripting.
If you can find MS Close Combat 2: A Bridge Too Far (1997), it works great in Windows 7. It's one of my all-time favorites.
