For whatever reason, I got the itch to play Roller Coaster Tycoon 2, a game I haven't played in a few years. What's fun is going back and looking back at old parks. I forgot how crazy some were. Like this one.

And with that, a whole lot of vomit.

Ahh, good times. Now I'm hooked again.

I love the series before it went 3D. I bought RCT3 for my brother and sisters but it's not the same game. The pixels make it an amazing game! :D

Ah yes the memories. I still remember dropping the entertainer/mascots into the waterpark pools just for the hell of it and watch them drown

I always picked them up right before then dropped them again. It gave longer entertainment than just dying right away.

Whenever I designed my own coasters, the intensity level would be through the roof, and noone would want to ride em :(

Heh, i played RCT 2 soooo much back when that came out many years ago.....probably hundreds of hours. I bought RCT 3 - Platinum for $10 on Steam during the holiday sale but honestly havent touched it yet...kinda afraid i might be disapointed.

Agreed. Chasing for high detail was a bad decision for the rct series. Both rct and rct 2 were much more welcoming to regulate and edit objects within the game space.

I've just started playing RCT3 again recently. I've spent huge amounts of time with every RCT from number 1 and loved them all. RCT3 is a really good game, sure it's different, but not in a bad way.

I would LOVE for them to go back to the old style before the 3D. I'd preorder it now, clear my desk and wait.

Oh man. I used to love that game. It was the best. I think I might go back and play it tonight. RCT2 is timeless.

Oh my god, I remember this game. I used to play it all the time....What ever happened to the discs...I might have to go searching through my closet. I know I wouldn't of thrown them away. Wow. Talk about a blast from the past. Major nostalgia right now.....time to go look.

OMG, I loved (still do) RCT2 back in the day. Played over 100+ hours on it when I was a kid. I remember one time, one of my custom roller coasters collided with eachother and they exploded and killed everyone.

Nothing for me beats the original. Having friends come over and staying up making some insane parks... That's where it was at. RCT2 was great as well.

I wouldn't have a problem with RCT3 if it were done properly, what with the pathfinding issues and the broken group system. That and it's pretty dated when it comes to 3D graphics, though the first two games and their isometric, cartoony graphics have aged better. I'd love to see a 3D sequel that really takes advantage of today's tech, though, as long as all the issues are addressed.

Back when I had my old HP Pavilion 510n, the only games that would work on it were the older ones like Fallout and RollerCoaster Tycoon. Bought a copy of RollerCoaster Tycoon Deluxe from Walmart for $10.00 since I saw my older brothers friend playing it on his old Windows 98 machine. Was the best year of my life, after school I would just sit there for hours and hours on end trying to craft the perfect theme park. :) *memories*

Yes it was a an awesome series. The 3rd one was alrite but didn't have the same pizazz, or whatever it was the first 2 had that the 3rd one didn't.
