Hey! I'm looking for some kind of an adventure game with lots of puzzle solving and mysteries. Right now I'm looking into the game, Dear Esther, but hoping to find some more great games. Any recommendations?

Not sure if it's what you're looking for but maybe Portal and Portal 2.

Grim Fandango, Back to the Future, Sam and Max, Psychonauts are all good games you can try.

Maybe a more dark and suspending game would fit my needs better.

For Puzzels and Mysteies you could try L.A norie.

SKyrim has a lot of mysteries and puzzels too. It's also dark and suspending.

Blade Runner
The Longest Journey
L.A Noire
Full Throttle
Indigo Prophecy/Farenheit
Gemini Rue
Sherlock Holmes Vs Jack the Ripper

Oh, and this next series of games that I'm going to recommend is RPG/Action-Adventure. It is pretty dark and very, very mature :

Witcher
Witcher 2

darksiders and darksider 2 are very interesting. Its not really a puzzle game but its based on a dark theme. I really enjoyed darksiders and cant wait for 2!
