It's certainly expensive, but it's a great card, both as a fast single card solution or to be used in a powerful SLI configuration. It's not the best bang-for-your-buck card, but that's not its intended market. It's definitely an enthusiast card. I hope that it's not a one-time thing, that nVidia will have future extra powerful cards like it as an option. People who don't want to pay for a super high-end card can go with the usual GTX x80 (or AMD equivalent). And I also would like to see AMD put out its own equivalent super powerful single card. Competition is always good for the consumer. It is a bit overpriced though.
Excellent card. Super fast and super quiet. For a single GPU card, its insane! I tend to avoid dual GPU solutions. I couldn't imagine the power that would come from SLI Titans!
It's also great for people who game on multiple screens because it has a massive 6GB frame buffer.

i think the card is 110% kickass but the price is too damn expensive. no video card should cost 1,000+ dollars (ridiculous). hopefully the price drops to 500-700 by the time i'm ready to get one because that's the card i've targeted as the one i defiitely want.

This sums up how I feel about it. Its powerful but I don't like the price ($700-750 would make more sense).
The main issue I have is that its kinda pointless for games now a days since where still being held back by the current consoles (you don't need a great GPU to play games like far cry 3, DMC, tomb raider, and bioshock 3 at high settings) and nvidia is rumored to be releasing the two generations (700/800) in a short time span (for most its best to just wait since its not hard to get good performance now a days).
It just seems like it would kinda suck to buy a Titan for $1000 now and not get a ton of return (eye candy) from it, and then be angry when a GTX 880 is faster/consumes less power for half the price
I can max Crysis right now, and that's the only game in existence that needs so much card (Metro is just badly coded). The Titan should have a word with the game companies and try to get them to write something worthy of it.

Yeah your exactly right. Titan will still have good value so you could sell them and pay only a little out of pocket for a 880GTX (if you sell them right before the launch then you could potentially get equal or greater value).

Well I think that the Titan is way overpriced. Â It's twice the price of a GTX 680 but not even close to twice as fast. Â I right now own a 4GB GTX 680 and if I had the choice between buying a 2nd GTX 680 for SLI or selling my GTX 680 and buying a GTX Titan I would choose the latter. Â It may be slower than 2 GTX 680's in SLI but I rather not deal with SLI. Â I just hope the GTX 700 series or whatever comes after the Titan will be at least as fast as the GTX Titan and cheaper as I don't feel like I need to upgrade to a Titan right now, mainly because of the price and anything slower than the Titan in my opinion is not worth upgrading from a GTX 680.
