Well APB's resurection is kind of good. Not worth paying, but definitly more fun than most F2P.

Just like with WOW I will play the new Star Wars mmorpg the same way as I have lately and that is little to no play. I want to see what the environments and quests will be like but I can't invest the time these mmorpg raiding guilds require for the average player. If they had 48 hr dungeons lockouts, raid lockouts of 2 weeks minimum for everyone and got rid of dailies putting rep quests up that are available only once or twice a week well then I could raid and play again and get more out of the game but on a healthy schedule. Get it done.

As for gameplay and graphics mmorpgs are all pretty much the same and the keyboard mashing and mouse clicking is starting to get tiresome. Every single time I tried to think about raiding in Cataclysm all the negatives crept up and stopped me from doing it.

DeViLzzz

You do know that you can enjoy an MMO (see the environments and quests etc) without raiding right?

Not everything is about raiding all the time...

I honestly think what that person said in the article is almost spot on. The game feels almost like MMO / RPG Hybrid feels like playing Bioware game like Dragon Age or Mass Effect with the story and decision making. You are constantly in story mode and enter phased out areas in the world that are tailored for your character and the deveploment of the story. oh and just the word on the curb you know.

So in a little over half a year later from that post the game has gone from being 20gb to being over 40gb and there's still another 15gb or so to get put in. I'd say that the game is going to be pretty epic, if not just for the story alone.

The game is currently 30gig install and the game feels more like one of Bioware story telling RPG games with MMO attached onto it.

I haven't played the game, but how much of that space is just all their audio files? I know they are claiming that every NPC is voiced....that much take up a lot of game space.

The problem with this is it makes it a lose lose scenerio.. On one hand we are going to havea very few set paths that are jam packed but lack quanity in uniqueness.. Or we are going to see a game thats butter spread too thin across a piece of toast.. Ala Spore.. A game that promises to do countless things, but fails on all fronts from being anything but a ok game.. Star Wars imo already has problems iwth the fact that the majority of people playing are going to play Jedi or Sith.. Those are the things that center around the entire universe.. Everything besides are interesting but side shows in the end.. I am willing to bet we are going to see like 80% of the player base for quite while to be playing Sith or Jedi..
