The stupid barrier between PC gamers and Console gamers

I've read many PC vs. Consoles thread and it has been annoying me to no end. I don't get why you people always fight and debate each other. PC is a very great platform. The king of graphics and game technology. The king of RTS, WRPG, FPS, etc. But you know, to get full experience on gaming you need both PC and Consoles. Tell me is there a game on PC that's like Mario, Legend of Zelda, Shadow of the Colossus, etc.? No. I know most PC gamers don't care for console exclusive games but they're usually different than most PC games and this is why PC + Consoles is the best for a gamer who wants to get full experience on gaming. I don't get this barrier. It's only made of stupidity.

Since there is nothing to debate here, all I can say is...PC forums =/= System Wars.

You should post this kind of crap discussion into system wars if you want it to go somewhere. PC has never been in any competition, it's console gamers that have to make up some kind of absurd reason to justify their purchase by saying "My epeen has more electrons than yours" draggin PC into it.

For an objective comparison, the arena is the example that suits best: console are gladiators, PC is the emperor looking down, laughing and deciding who is to die first.

There is no such thing as barriers.

Since there is nothing to debate here, all I can say is...PC forums =/= System Wars.

Console fanatists take it personal when another console fanatist says his console his one's better or the other one is worse, and there begins the system wars.

Notice that even you wrote "PC vs Consoles" and not "PC vs PS3"/"PC vs X360"/"PC vs Wii".

There's always going to be an extreme on both sides. You'll have the incredibly stupid and illogical monkeys that are the console fanboys, and the stuck up elitists that are some PC gamers. Neither extreme is good. You just have to ignore them and let yourself have the benefits of both forms of gaming hardware.

I finally had to throw my copy of 09 into the trash because that's all I was playing. I would get so excited during the online matches that I could feel my heart pounding in my chest. One Saturday afternoon, I spent six hours straight, playing online, and knew I had a problem. Yes, I'm a Fiffaholic, and I will be again in October.

there are some console games id like to play (on the ps3), and i may well selll my 360 to buy one, the last time i played on it was a few weeks ago and, having not turned it on for months, i was shocked at how dated the games looked, the tech really does look on its last legs.

While I admit PC is superior to consoles in almost everyway (and I'm mainly a console gamer, just got a gaming computer, so that may change soon), some games on the consoles are incredibly good, and PC gamers miss some of the greatest gems in gaming (Golden Eye, Metal Gear Solid, Zelda, Mario, God of War, etc.)

The only barrier between consoles and console gamers for me is that consoles are harder to control and alot of console gamers have this strange idea that our system is so much more :question:inferior:question: to theirs (at least some of the ones I've met online).

Yep in an ideal world I would have all console and a PC. As it is I try and maintain a current gen console along with my PC (my platform of choice). That said I don't see the point of this thread it will only attract flame wars :(

Epeen measuring is always fun to read! It often gets sillier and sillier after post no.2 in the thread :D

There will always be conflict between the systems, until we one day can finally all play together online regardless of systems.
And please, don't reply with the"mouse and keyboard superiority" arguments, the consoles have them too you know :)
