The Engine - Part 1
Pretty impressive...

Could easily be GOTY and RPG of the year without a doubt. The Witcher was one of my favorite RPG's of all time.

Diablo III and The Witcher 2 all the way!
The jump from The Witcher to The Witcher 2 is mind-blowing. These guys really poured all their heart and soul into this game. It shows..
CD Projekt deserves a lot of credit for bringing the first Witcher to life; this one is looking to be amazing too. Can't wait :D
And I have yet to play Witcher I. It's there, on my shelf, waiting for me to have enough time and motivation...Anyway, Assassins of Kings looks fantastic. I hope CD Projekt Red show Bioware and others, that in order make a gr8 game for PC, u need to develop it for the PC instead of for all the consoles, mobiles and calculators there are.
You can't be serious. The first Witcher game would work very well on consoles. There's nothing the first Witcher has that consoles CAN'T do.And I have yet to play Witcher I. I meant Witcher II not the first one. The developers stated themselves that it will not be released on consoles, if the consoles can't handle the game as they want it to be, meaning there will be no sacrifices made in order to make a console release possible (see Dragon Age). I just fope they stick to their word.

I'd say there is a firm connection between the two, but that's material for a long and probably fierce debate :)

Im almost positive that Witcher 2 will be on consoles after its released on PC first. I read it somewhere for sure.[QUOTE="norolim"][QUOTE="SkyWard20"]

I read it somewhere for sure. They have said they they would enjoy to bring hte wticher games to consoles, but that as of now there is NO Witcher game for consoles being worked on or planned. Right now its The Witcher2 for PC and thats all that they are putting time into, maybe someone might port it over to consoles later on years down the road, who knows, as of now though its pc exclusive, like Witcher 1 was.

Rise of the white wolf is the console game they are working on. They put the project on hold when The Witcher 2 was in it's crunching phase because they needed all hands on deck.

That was the game they WERE working on for consoles, no news if they are going to continue working on that game or not.
I agree - White Wolf is cancelled. This is a game best experienced on PC, and I bet everyone agrees those were some nice sex cards. If you have the North American version you need to patch it uncensored. It will probably stay on PC too, but either way the version for PC is in the hearts of the developers and they won't disappoint.

Not too bad actually. From the way the engine sounds so far, I really hope that it's used in more then just the Witcher games. All that is left to see is just how taxing(or not) it will be on our side when we install the game on our PC's when March comes rolling along.
Side note:Wouldn't mind seeing just how they would approach a sci-fi based RPG with their storytelling capabilities.
