Found these on another forum talking about the game, Sorry if old;

The Witcher 2 Gameplay

The Witcher 2 Dev Diary 4

Did anyone find the combat of the original Witcher too "Hardcore"? Cause apparently people complained saying it was. They talk about the new, the changed and etc in the gameplay video.

The combat in the first game was a lot of fun to watch. But for me it was basicalyl a cake walk. Especially when you know which potions to drink in boss fights, then it became a cakewalk. It looks like the combat is going to be alot more involving in this game, which is good even if it looks a little less fluid.

It's probably just because the demo is modified or something but damn all those dudes wailing on geralt and I hardly saw any life go down. Clearly leather is the new mithril.

i like the idea of having the "pause" function only slow down time. its a nice twist on a classic computer rpg element and it could be very exciting.

I don't think I've ever been as excited for an RPG sequel as I am for TW2. It looks so, so good. Bioware have been beaten at their own game, literally.

The Witcher was enough for me. I tried the combat and hated it. I am glad I didn't buy the game. Hopefully in a 2nd installment of the game combat will be better and I look forward to trying a demo.

Yes, the combat was what put me off from the first game. The setting, characters, voice acting, graphics were all superb though... It looks like they have made the combat in Witcher 2 more real time....so looking forward to trying it out.

I must be the only one who enjoyed the combat system of The original Witcher.

I don't know about you guys, but I didn't like the combat they showed in that video. Seems a bit clumsy.

That tends to happen when it seems to be set on god mode and you're trying to give an explanation of the game and play at the same time. Could easily tell he wasn't trying.

DEM VISUALS! I think it has some real serious graphical muscle. Not to mention possibly the best (imo) scenery in a video game. Very nice use of colors too.

It looked jaggy though... (Could be the recording and the TV used...)

That definitely isn't a direct feed/source material. Way to many...artifacts I believe they're called. There are plenty of videos that have way smoother/cleaner footage. Its now my 2nd most hyped game this year behind Battlefield 3.

That's a early beta. Written on top the screen. It's from mid December. The video quality is the horror. Game looks and play's way better than this.
