Pft Witcher 2 is soo bad, the graphics aren't even better than the first game, we got just a lame console port, they also offer no support for the game. Good for them, but it's not exactly PC news material :P.
And please people, don't start crying with things like

On the actual trailer, it seems a bit weird, it is set in a completely different tone from the original launch trailers and the actual game. I don't like it.
This isn't news. The console versions were announced months ago. The only surprise is that there's no mention of the PS3 version. I'm curious how they're going to port it to consoles. Unlike other games like Crysis 2, Witcher 2 is pretty heavy on graphics and big areas. I wouldn't be surprised if the console version(s) turn out to have worse graphics than even the PC version at minimum settings.
Good thing its going to console more money for devs = better production value in next game.though there will be some downs in console version it will be a good game.its time for console gamers to hear what pc gamers have been hearing for past 4 years "better dumbed down than never".

Are you sure about that ? It plays like a console game, actually plays better with the 360 controller. I think they were developed at the same time and released on pc first to get acceptance.
I actually don't care, we all knew it was happening and I think its good for them. They are so high in my books for always listening, staying in touch and taking the care & effort into their work. I'm happy they can bring this to consoles for more money.
Tbh most people knew this would happen from the first UI screenshot. I just hope they patch a real PC UI into the game and fix the 1000's of bugs in the game :(... Oh and they need to stop being afraid to put up their forum and just man up and take the storm that will come. Its abit pathetic... There are so many bugs / issues and stuff with the game and no place to report them to.

exactly my opinion , as long they do support us and make the game on PC then port to console and also most important thing make gameplay suit every platform Not to find myself playing the game with console gameplay and controls

The game lacks a proper tutorial and doesn't hold your hand at all (well, compared to most easy games nowadays), just out of curiosity, I wonder if the console community will follow the stereotype* and rage about it, or just deal with it like any proper person would and learn the mechanics on their own.
*: you know the stereotype, about console players being brainless people with a severe case of ADD, just in case anyone misunderstood my post :P

But I liked Infamous a lot, so I'm buying Infamous 2 for sure.
the console version is coming months after the pc version, and TW2 was optimized for pc first.

Optimized??? I wouldnt go as far as that.
I'd say its pretty optimized. Its not another Crysis. I run a mix of medium and very high with my rig and everything maxed out except ubersampling with the second, and that was a budget machine (600 bucks but didn't include monitor or OS, already had those.)
The Game already came with full Xbox Gamepad Support (even with the icons..) so not really a surprise, more a surprise that its not coming for the ps3

Crysis 1 and Warhead also had full 360 pad support and was even hotswappable during gameplay. Even had button icons.
thats good for them, i hope they make good amount of money from witcher 2 on 360. anyhow a dev success starts with pc, we should be familiar with this pattern start out small develop a game for pc with small budget sell a million copies and then move over to consoles.

Same - I don't think they could've gone about it a better way. Everyone here should be pretty happy with it. Yeah, this a thousand times. These guys deserve monster sales and a bigger audience, so I'm just happy that more people will get to play^H^H^H^H be kicked in the balls by TW2!

I 100% agree with your comment. The moment I saw the terrible inventory system and the "press the right mouse button 20 times to open a gate part", this was particularly obvious that a console release would not be too far ahead. At least the story is still great, but I doubt I will pre-order another game from them. I am not really happy with witcher 2
