The Witcher, crashes while saving

Pretty much as the title says, whenever I try to save my game on The Witcher the game crashes. Every time, wether it is quick save or pause save. Anyone got any advice?

Why don't you try the Steam forums under that game and see if there is anything to help you. I had lots of problems with the game when it first came out on my old XP machine. Had absolutely no crashes or problems with my new computer back then after the first patch and that was pre-enhanced edition. Same computer in my specs 'cept had an 8800GT video card then.
