You sound pretty young, but it might do you some good to know that creating threads about stuff like this makes you sound insecure with your purchase. It's also material more fitting for a blog, since you aren't really trying to initiate any discussion, but are instead stating your opinion and not asking for anyone else's.
I was looking for a different experience then my itouch but after many hours of research I have determined there is not a player that can match the itouch. When you combine features, apps, and just useablitiy all of the other players are just bland.OwnallConsoles
That's like saying a swiss army knife is better as a cutting instrument than a machete. Sure, the swiss army knife has more features..unfortunately, these features really don't help much with the "knife" functionality...
I'd rather carry a proper instrument for the job over a jack-of-all-trades device that isn't quite as good at what I want it for. I'd say my biggest problem with Apple devices is how locked-down they are, and next up would be format support. I wouldn't even be able to play Ogg/Vorbis tracks (widely considered to be the best lossy format available) if I had an iTouch (edit: for the record, I keep lossless, CD-quality music on my PC, and transcode to Ogg/Vorbis for my PMP. I don't deal with garbage-quality MP3s.)My player is also significantly smaller than an iTouch, and it has significantly longer battery life (actually, it'll probably last longer playing videos than an iTouch will strictly playing music.)
Sure, I can't play much in the way of games on other music players, but if I'm feeling like I might want to, I can always grab my DSi on the way out the door (which, I must say, is also better at what it's made to do..)
Anyway, that's how I feel about it..though you may not care with that rather immature, "my opinion is absolute" outlook you're coming as having.
