Thermal grease to buy

Hi and all I wanted to know what thermal grease is popular in 2010 at the moment I used arctic silver 5 but is there anything better I have done some reaserch and read good things about IC diamond, now does anyone have any other oppinions on whats the best I could buy.

I use MX-3, a little thick but works well and it's not electrically conductive (won't harm your MB if any oozes out).

TBH, unless you're trying to achieve that absolute best overclock possible on your system, I suggest sticking with the AS5 you've got right now. You're scarcely going to see a 3 Celsius benefit by switching to a different TIM.

And a word of caution; IC Diamond has the ability to distort or remove the information printed on the IHS of a processor, so I'd avoid using it if you intend on keeping the warranty valid.

tuniq tx-2 or the ocz freeze there pretty much a tie. To be honest though your only gonna see a 3-4c degree drop in temps. You could always lapp your processor and that might get you up to the 6-7c drop range but that all depends on how warped the ihs is. It might not drop your idle temps very much, its your load temps where your gonna see the biggest drop.
