http://www.gamespot.com/articles/batman-arkham-origins-has-no-plans-to-fix-several-game-breaking-bugs/1100-6417619/

"The team is currently working hard on the upcoming story DLC and there currently are no plans for releasing another patch to address the issues that have been reported on the forums," a community manager said in a post on the game's official forums.

Just warning people if they haven't seen this Gamespot article today.

Warner Bros. Montreal, the developer of Batman: Arkham Origins knows there are several game breaking bugs but has said they won't fix them and still expects people to fork out for paid DLC.

I missed this third Batman game and won't be buying any future titles from them.

What an appalling attitude.

I know some people might have already read this on the front page but it'd be good if we could spread this to as many as possible and increase the awareness.

I've had very few problems with the 3rd game, wasn't really buggy for me anyway.

Thanks for the warning. Not fixing small bugs I can understand - but deliberately not fixing game-breaking bugs that they know are an issue is, as you say, an appalling attitude to take. In fact, I'd say it's sailing pretty close to the game not 'being fit for purpose', which is definitely an issue in the UK under the sale of goods act. They might want to have a rethink, or enjoy handing out refunds.

It's hard to determine if this is a decision of the developer or the publisher. The cynic inside me leans towards the latter, in which case I'm going to be pretty dubious about any future titles with a big WB stamped on them, including Shadows of Mordor.

Glad I got it for less than $10, haven;t played it yet but this is a really scumbag move.

Not buying anymore WB games if this is their attitude. I'm guessing its a publisher decision as its an in-house dev.

Thanks for the heads up. This is the only Arkham game I haven't purchased as I was waiting for a fix on the bugs reported in several reviews. Now that I know they won't get fixed, I'm no longer interested.

Thanks a lot WB Montreal Games... I'm glad I bought the Nvidia code for Arkham Origins for $9 on eBay. They should be ashamed.

Most companies share a similar policy actually, but unlike WB they have superior PR techniques so this type of thing doesn't come out so bluntly.

Community manager might be in some trouble for sure. No use removing it, that would look worse.

Game breaking bugs... Doesn't that qualify for getting your money back? They have essentially sold a broken product and refuse to fix it.

That's a shame. I really liked the game but that attitude stinks.

Didn't enjoy Arkham Origins as much as Arkham City. It seemed to lack flavour to it and kinda felt it was going for half Nolan Batman and half Comics Batman, it needed that Rocksteady touch.. Bane was pretty badass without the Titan though.
