Thinking about buying MW3.

How is it doing these days? Are there still people playing the online, or has everyone moved onto BLOPS 2? I found MW3 for $20 onhttp://www.g2play.net and i've been wanting a Cod game for a while since I don't have one.

Its probably the worst CoD in the entire series. I'd skip it.

3 is much worse. The maps are abysmal. The campaign was ok.

I agree about getting Black Ops 2 though, its a much better game.

Dont, all the map packs fragmented playerbase way too much

Please don't MW3 is horrible.

I would skip it having played everyone COD since 4 I hated it. Horrible maps and they ruined the experience for me.

If you got someone to play Spec Ops with then it might be worth it. The single player campaign is completely forgettable and I would say the worst in the series.

Alright thanks guys I guess i'll pass. The only reason I was thinking of getting it is cause I was a big fan of MW2. It was awesome, so thought MW3 might be a overall good online shooter, but I think i'll wait until BLOPS 2 goes on sale. Thanks again.

DO NOT BUY. Every second game will have a hacker and that is not an exaggeration. The game's population is low enough that you've got a choice between maybe 4 of the gamemodes, and if you quit a game because of a hacker and try the same gamemode, you will likely be placed back in the game you just quit.

It's pretty much Alter reborn, but legit. Uses your Steam install and key so there is no workaround for non-paying customers. Last time I played, it was fairly populated.

They also have a version for MW3 but I haven't tried it...

I think MW3 has a lot of quality single player/co-op content. If you are looking for multiplayer thoe, don't buy it on PC.

MW3 is the worst of the entire series, and I say it subjectively. If you really insist on playing COD then play BLOPS2. They finally did away with kill streaks.bonafidetk

Modern Warfare 3 got rid of killstreaks.

MW3 and MW2 both horrible imo

I regret getting MW3, infact its the COD title i've spent the least amount of time playing..

BO2 is better but still didnt meet my expectations :(
