Ok so i passed Baldur's Gate the complete saga, except the throne of bhaal expansion, with a paladin. This was like 2 years ago. Now im planning on doing it all over again but with a mage. I Also plan on buying the complete collection in order to do Throne of bhaal finally. What do you guys think. :)

its a amazing game thats actually very challenging.. Something that most rpgs now a days are NOT.. Take NWN2 for instance, I could beat that game half a sleep.. Hell the greatest danger in that game is your team mate AI, keeping a close eye out that your team mate doesn't cast a AOE on top of your head.

AI wasn't a problem for me in NWN2. I prefer having complete control, so I just turned it off hehe.

But yeah I've had Baldur's Gate 1 and 2 for about 7 years. I just started playing another Priest of Lathander a couple weeks ago. The game is freakin timeless.

Yeah thats one thing that irked me about Baldur's Gate 2 was the imbalances in som eof the classes, be it by actual class abilities or item forsights.. Shapeshifter is prime example of this.. The greter werewolf form owns for a while intill you realize its THACO doesn't lower as you level it stays the same.. Not ot mention NO items carry over to help out the wolf form.

Throne of Bhaal is simply a-ma-zing; lives up to BG standards, you won't regret it. Not only worth your time (and money): it is rather essential! ;)

I made it up to the very last (I think) boss fight in Throne of Bhaal. I could not beat it. I tried for a least a month and then gave up. I'm thinking of going back through the whole thing again, any tips on the very last boss of ToB.
