thinking of buying Max Payne

I'm thinking of buying Max Payne 1 and 2 for 15 dollars..

My questions are whether its worth playing still and if the price is a good one.

You'll get an almost universally positive reaction from the guys here, I can assure you of that. You should definitely buy it.

To put its age in perspective, I just asked a friend who didn't play Max Payne until just a few months ago to sum up his experience:

The Time you Wasted Asking us to Buy it, you could of already been playing.

Either one of the Games is worth $15 alone, but for both it's a steal.

Yeah I saw the commercial..are the valkries really in the game? That seemed kind of strange haha.I am getting the games though I think

No, the valkries aren't seen in the game, only referenced.

Has to be one of the best TPS's ever made.

Some of the best games ever. Especially the second.

They've aged well so you'd be crazy to not get them.

However if you have Vista you're in trouble with MP1. A lot of sound is missing when played.

if your looking for a good story (depressing though) then get it.

if you want to get it for the slo mo and action, get stranglehold instead. the gameplay is miles better and anyone who tells you otherwise is is lying, there is no denying the fact that there is a lot more to it and while its repetitive the same is true of max payne but worse.

overall though, definitely get it, its a cracking game.
