Just wanted to see if anybody who runs Vista Ultimate 64-Bit, has any problems at all with various game and/or program installs...

also is there really any performance gain over 32-bit.

IF YOU DONT KNOW WHAT YOUR TALKING ABOUT, DONT POST IN MY THREAD.

DONT FLAME VISTA EITHER, I DONT CARE IF YOU DONT LIKE IT.

so basically, no fanboys allowed

I don't run Vista, but from what I hear about the 64-bit version over the 32-bit is that if you're not at least running with 4GB of memory, then you're basically wasting your time.

32-bit only supports up to 3.5GB memory where as the 64-bit can support up to....dang, I don't remember, but it supports a whole heck of a lot more memory.

Just as you'd expect, there are still driver and performance issues that I hear about on the 64-bit version as well as on the 32-bit version. Hopefully and eventually as time progresses, a lot (if not all) of these issues will be addressed and corrected.

I hear some people say they have issues getting games to run on both the 64-bit and 32-bit versions...but like I said above, in time these problems should be corrected.
