Everybody who said that my mac probably wouldn't run the greatest games, your a little on the wrong side (little). I downloaded a couple demos and one which i was very impressed with was age of empires 3. I had it running on the highest settings, and with a ultility tool i found on apple.com i had it running at about 60 fps with more than 120 units on-screen. All settings were at there highest, including resolution. If u have ever played the game before here is what was on high settings.        Shader quality : Highest               Shadow Quality : Highest       Bloom : On              Particle effects : Max                        High Poly Models : On                       Terrain                Detail Effects : On                                    Water reflections : On                 Anti-Analising : High Or Max (At it's highest)                                                             Terrain Detail : High                                 Model Detail : High                                          Texture Filter : High                                                                                                               Download the demo for yourself to see if i am lying. People hate on Macs because you can get a better performing PC for a much lower price. And In terms of security, Macs are safety scissors compared to PCs. They only exist to protect moron users from themselves. You my friend have been sucked in by a gimicky fashion accesory.

I have never had any anti virus software on my computer, for 1 year now, and i dont have a single virus or spyware. You know why? Because i know how to take care of my pc. Learn how to do some good optimization and system maintenance and you will be fine.
I think those folks at Apple marketing got you a little bit paranoid with viruses on the PC. I just use Norton and I've not had any virus problems for YEEAAARS. It really isn't a problem...unless you frequent shady looking websites?

yeah, i also wanna know why you got a lappy with 8800 it porbably cost a lot and weighs like 20 lbs. you might as well have bought a 8800gtx to replace your 1650 + a laptop for whatever reason you got a laptop in the first place.
ha, yea, that mac is good.. but learn your hardware first. PC hardware is less expensive, and mac's top of the line comp. is twice the price of the hardware alone, and its not even top of the line hardware. Yes, i know that the hardware is specially picked and you pay for the OS and everything eles but come on; gamers are mostly system builders and mac's are just to damn expensive for something I can build for half the price.

Have been a PC gamer going on 16 years now. Never used an anti-virus in my live. Have only ever gotten 1 virus. And that was using a 3.5" floppy at school, getting a virus on it and bringing it home. That was roughly 12 years ago.

Why waste your time developing a virus for mac? Hackers want prestige, and you don't get that by targeting only 5% of the market share, if that. Also I don't use Antivirus software, if you know how to use a computer safely you don't need any. Did you know you essentially payed twice as much for a computer because it is a pretty white color and you are "trendy"?
