There are plenty of reasons to have Daemon Tools. Like for myself, my PS2 no longer works. So I use it to mount images of my PS2 games I ripped to run on my PS2 emulator.

Get another one, using emulators isn't legal It is, if you own the games, there is no law that forbids you, not even forums forbid emulating your games (just emulating pirated games, don't even give GS as an example because most of the mods here don't even read what they're moderating, all they need is one word for something that has rules and they'll moderate), just like making images out of your games (that require the disc) is legal.
In case you never read a CD/DVD, you are not allowed to sell, resell, duplicate in order to sell and rent. W/e you do in order to play the games is your problem, nothing you do, with the game you own, for your own use is against the law.

PCSX2 is perfectly legal as long as you legally own an actual PS2.
