Actually, last night I played it on 1440x900 all night til 4 in the morning, but I really like 1280x960 on most of my games, so thats why its changed. 1440x900 is the biggest res I can go. It ran fine on both. Now tell me, how is this possible?

No, that is absolutely miraculous for an 8800GT. There's definitely something not right here.

Nothing can run Crysis at very high at 280 fps. I suppose it's a typo and the TS means 28 fps.

If not, how did you measure the FPS? Use the benchmark inluded with Crysis and take a screenshot.

Oi, I used Xfire as my friend told me to, I opened up the tab and clicked on show FPS, it shows on the top left so I am sure it's not 28. Could be an error but it does work quite fine, feels like more than 40 fps.

Ok that is not reliable. Go to C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis\Bin32 and run Benchmark_GPU.bat.
