...for me?

This 27" 120Hz 1080p 2ms 3D display:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824001474

I currently sit about 5ft from my old OLEVIA 23" 720p LCD monitor and am looking to upgrade to a 1080p 3D one for use with my PS3 now (and PS4 in fall 2013). I will only use the monitor with the console for games and movies, not watching any TV on it. My other option is the new Playstation 3D display. But I am willing to buy a bigger 3D plasma TV instead as long as it is priced under $600. I am looking for top notch quality. I'm a graphics whore and I love 3d!

Thanks for the help.

Ironically PS3 and X360 games look worse on 1080p sets than they do on 720p sets. I have a 1080p monitor (well, three actually :P) and my console games look hideous on it thanks to the upscaling the consoles have to do. Honestly I wouldn't upgrade from what you have until the PS4 comes out, and that's assuming that the PS4 will be able to do 1080p.

Why do you sit 5 feet from a 23" screen? That's an incredibly small screen for that distance.

I know. I have to squint really bad. Lately I just pull up a chair from the dining room and place it right in front of the TV. :|

I don't. I sit about 2 feet away, max, from my three 23" screens :|
