Ok, this whole problem is my fault in the first place but it still p!sses me off, I bought half life 2 mainly to just play counter strike, and i installed on my computer and all the stuff and made my steam account and everything,the thing is i did this a couple years ago....I was in the mood to play CS on my moms computer so i take out the discs and install them, wellwhen they all install i found out that steam won't let you use a duplicate product code, i thought that they would becuase i did the same thing with guild wars and it worked, anyways, i forgot my old acccount and the email address i used for the old account doesn't work anymore so basically im screwed, now if i want to play counter strike i have to purchase it on steam for $20, it just doesn't seem fare, (i dont want to sound whiney and i know its my fault in the first place, but it still sucks)
CS is getting boring, but the mods are getting better. Anyways just log into your same steam account on her computer and download counter strike. ive done that several times
Yeah, Stem is a piecof crap. Had the same problem and have to trash my Half Life 2 copy... tryed prograns that creat steam acount (I know its illegal, but i think it's fare)... It don't worked.
I never had that problem... I dl it on another computer, and all I need was my ID and Pw... The only thing that sucks, if you are online, someone else cant use your account to play w/you... Which, I think steam needs to fix!

Maybe they should. They could use a fingerprint database.
