Those of you with 295s, which monitor would you choose?

Im really trying to sort it out, what would some of you suggest? How about some of those BenQ monitors, anyone gaming with one of those?

I just want a rock solid gaming monitor that will utilize my 295, i love the price point of these monitors too, so any suggestions is welcomed.

I like the dell monitors, on tuesday I got a 24" 1080P monitor for 188 =D S2409W to be exact. They often have really good deals. Between the two, they have the same resolution, similar connection types, probably both TN panels... I would probably grab the Asus. Says it is brighter, has good reviews.

Yea its got all the bells and whistles that i think are important unless im missing something, but having 1920x1200 res, 2ms, dvi, hdmi etc...just seems like for the price its a killer deal.

Low-end 24"s.

I remember reading about them because, just like you, I was looking for a cheap 24".

You HAVE to go into a store to purchase a display. Over the internet just sucks and Newegg has a rather poor LCD policy. I went to Bestbuy. Yes it was more expensive, but I got a 30day back guarentee, so that if there were ANY dead pixels, I'd simply return it. For Newegg, it's something like 9 or 12 Dead Pixels before you could consider it a defect.

2nd reason for going in: Displays don't have a universal way of mesuring contrast/color/quality. It all depends on what you think of it. 2ms really doesn't matter that much either. It's better if you get a quality monitor over a cheap 2ms monitor (which uses a different panel so that it can achieve 2ms response time). You shouldn't be getting a LCD anyways if you're concerned about .002s vs .006s

Yeah, I'm amazed on the quality of a T240. I got it for like $400 about 3 months ago when it was on sale.

what do you mean perform well with gtx 295? a monitor is either good or bad. if its good, it's good for all graphic cards. As for the t240, it's not like it'll only work well with my 4870x2 and not your gtx295. So my advice is that the samsung t2*** series are all excellent products. I do suggest to get simply the monitor and not the HD versions of the monitor which include the TV tuner. from what i recollect, having the TV tuner actually decreases the DCR which I would rather not sacrifice to be able to watch tv sometimes.
