Thoughts on S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl ?

I just recently got this game and am having tons of fun with it. At first I really wasn't sure if I would enjoy it and I didn't know much about it, but after playing a couple hours of it I absolutely love it so far. I have always liked post apocalyptic games like the Fallout series, so thought I would give this a try. What are your guys thoughts on it ?

Awsome game, one of the best games ever made tobad Stalker 2 was canceled.(or was it? :P)

My first impressions of the game wasn't very good, but after finishing it many times I consider Shadow of Chernobyl one of the best PC games ever made.

SOC and Clear Sky are two of my fav singleplayer FPS games :D

they are all badass, slow and may be difficult to like at first, but you need to give em time to really enjoy them, best games this decade

Yes this game is very underplayed. Most people I know have never even heard of the Stalker series, but man they are amazing games. I am very surprised that this game is not very popular, but it sure deserves to be.

Probably one of the greatest games ever created, and certaintly one of my top favorite games ever.

Same thing here. Not sure how I would felt about the game until I put a couple hours into it. It is an amazing game with great atmosphere.

Great game, i did find it does take a while to really get into it

STALKER was one of the games that started to get me wondering about PC gaming. Glad I finally got the chance to play it. It's a great game! Can't wait to finish CS then move on to CoP.

Once I got into the game, I couldn't put it down. I thought the atmosphere was amazing...I felt alone and in danger wherever I went. I think it's a great game.

Great game, but difficult, too. Never finished however. Should get around to that... eventually.

Absolutely amazing, one of my all time favorites on the PC, especially when coupled with the Complete mod, the Complete mod for the other two titles as well works great.
