THQ pack, worth it - I have none of these games?

Hey, sorry if I'm late into this but the THQ pack is £26, I just saw this deal and have never played any of the games. I am short on money at the moment, but looking for games to last for a while and this package looks to good to pass up. So is this deal worth it? Will it last me long? Which games are good/not so good and why?

If you haven't played any of those games or own any of them then yes it is a fantastic deal. STALKER will keep you busy for a good few days, Red faction is also lots of fun to just destroy stuff, i played it on 360 and personnally i loved the Multiplayer. Basically there are to many games there for 26quid for you to pass up :P

Except for Juiced 2, all those games are good. Even Red Faction 2 is fun.

well, If you like RTS games then the entire DOW series and COH series are VERY much worth it.

Saints row 2 is a bit portish

Fuel frontlines of war is a buggy mess, most people plainly gave up trying to even run it.

some kind of driving game, not my kind of game.

haha, naaah I diddnt mix up saints row 2 and FFoW... (I did buy the thq pack aswell btw ^^ ) as far as I can tell, a whole heck of alot of people has the same problem, the game is a freakin slideshow, I get between 1.2 and 5.5 on my rig (only game I bumped into that I couldnt run as smooth as the day is long.

Turns out that when I went to the steam forums there were about 40 threads about the game being utterly broken, as opposed to the about 20 with saints row 2 ;)

Soeh If you want to buy the pack TC, these are the games to beware of, if they work or not is like flipping a coin.

Company of Heroes and STALKER alone are worth that much. There is no contest. This is one of the best deals ever. chandu83

Set it at low priority in task manager and in a few seconds it will run well. I bought it the other weekend for 2.5 euro and I found the SP to be awesome.

For SR2, set the lightning and SSAO options lower and most problems should go away. The official forums have a lot of fixes and mods for it.

i too did not own any of the games prior to buying the pack. stalker, coh, and dow2 are really fun. so far everyting else has been meh, but its still worth it.

It's a good deal. The whole Dawn of War series, Dawn of war 2. Stalker, company of heroes, Titan quest and the list goes on.
