whoa! can i add these to my Steam account after purchasing?
e: never mind. apparently i can't buy digital copies from there if i live in EU. also notice the $5 download fee they add to the price...
;o DoW2 finally under $10! Now to decide which I should get...expansion or original.killab2oo5get the original, better if you plan to play online than the expansion which gives you just one faction, buying the original gives you 3
I've been eying metro 2033, but is it horribly unoptimized? Swiftstrike5no its not, its just highly scalable.

The $5 extended download service is optional and can be removed. Still, it stinks that you can't get anything. That doesn't seem right.
Never actually bought anything from the THQ Store, but I noticed that the reseller is Digital River, Inc., from whom I purchased some great deals on Windows 7 and Office when I was a college student. Quite remarkable how they're always saving me money. ;)
I went ahead and got Metro 2033 and CoH Gold. Plenty of deals here that are hard to pass up. :D

Damn it, I really wanted Metro...Well it seems they won't sell Metro 2033 to people in Canada. Sad Face.

I wouldn't worry about having to get the extended download service for metro and dawn of war 2 + expansion, seeing as there steamworks games. You'll always be able to redownload them in steam. Making them the only really good deals in my eyes.
I hate how publishers think they can somehow offer a lesser download service.. it's somewhat ironic.
Titan Quest: Gold Edition looks tempting...the_ChEeSe_mAn2
If your a fan of the genre get it its the best diablo type game out there besides diablo.
Don't usually play RTS are any of these games very noob friendly?ericpolYes, there perhaps the best newb friendly games out there, compared to Starcraft 2. But since Starcraft 2 is coming out in like a week, I think you should get it instead. It's worth the time invested to get good at it; it's just that fun.
Nice find! I just got Metro and DOW2 + Chaos Rising all for $32. I already had Red Faction Geurrilla for $5 back when it was on Steam's 4th of July sale, otherwise I'd would have picked it up too.
Could anyone list what games on there that would allow me to activate them onto my steam account?

Be sure to look at it carefully though because Steam only accept certain game keys in SPECIFIC FORMATS. Also, the page is entitled "Retail CD Keys". Since "retail" is usually considered physical copies, I would bet anything that these digital keys the THQ store is selling are not in the specific format that steam accepts as valid.

Seriously?
Yes, both require steamworks.I can vouch that the Metro 2033 key works on steam. THQ jacked me out of $5 =/Could anyone list what games on there that would allow me to activate them onto my steam account?

First off, many thanks to the OP for posting this.
Picked up Metro 2033 and might buy one or two other games.
My problem, though, is that after paying for Metro 2033 I have gotten nothing. No email from THQ, and when I sign in to check the status of my order it says that I haven't ordered anything.
WTF. :?
UPDATE: I just signed in again and my game is there and ready to be downloaded. All is well. :D
will you be able to download titan quest: gold and s.t.a.l.k.e.r. through steam?
thanks!
SaltyDoughnut
anyone?
Maybe this helps. I dunno if it will : https://store.thq.com/DRHM/servlet/ControllerServlet?Action=DisplayCustomerServiceOrderSearchPage&SiteID=thq&Locale=en_US&Env=BASESo I bought Metro - how does this work? Will they email me a code or... ? It's been nearly two hours since I purchased the game, and I've received nothing.

So if I'm buying Metro 2033, STALKER, and Titan Quest: Gold, do I need to use the extended download policy thing?
Or can I just use steam?
Thanks!
