Well So far all my games seem to be working fine except for BF 2142 which I seem to have some "problem with your connection" errors with. However with all these new hard ware parts coming out I dont want to start having problems with games anytime soon. I dont think I can upgrade certain hardware peices slowly and will probally need a whole new system. I want opinions on what I should do. Whats cheap and effeicant to do or to wait a bit untill Direct x10 cards become cheaper. Im not looking for a monster rig. Just somthing thats good and powerful.

In General I want to know if I am needing to raise some money for a new computer and in what price range should I spend for a good PC.

Heres my computer.

Intel 2.6 CPU

P5GL-MX Mother Board (doesnt support SLI or so I think)

ASUS 256 N6600 LE Silencer

1x 1gb of unknown ram

Suggestions, links, ideas would all be apreciated.

I'm guessing you're going to want new everything - a graphics card will likely prolong the life of that machine, but you really want to consider an all-new machine if you really like playing all the new games.

Yup better to start fresh and do it right. How much are you willing to spend?

I would suggest saving about $1000 for a build in a couple of months. If you can wait that long, there should be some cheaper Nvidia DX10 cards, AMD DX10 cards for comparison, and most likely price drops on CPUs. I think there will be a lot of people upgrading at this time.

Well I can certainly wait and save. its great to see prices on CPU and DX10 cards will be down soon. I think my computer is running games fine right now but in several months it may not.

1000$ would probally be typical. However at the time if I feel I need a godly rig Ill save up some money.
