$1000 who are they aiming at?

It does look nice but it's really not needed and is it replacing this years cards if any. 700 series?

It looks sexy and powerful though I feel slightly underwhelmed, I think they can do better.

They Have taken a Workstation Tesla Card which is a GK110 chip(680 is a GK104 chip)which usually cost upwards of $2500 and Put it in a desktop card ...Hence the Massive price

It also has 384 bit memory bus as opposed to standard 256 bit

$1000 is way too much for this.

For it to be an upgrade for me, I'd have to buy two; that's $2000 for an upgrade that's not earth-shattering...no, I'll pass.

Dumb comparison is dumb. Games rarely, RARELY, put any stress on the 4th GPU in Quad SLI or Quadfire. You only get proper scaling up to 3 cards.
