Titanfall retail question

So, this is going to be a pretty stupid question but just thought I'd ask. If I buy the retail version of Titanfall for PC, will the game still run off of the DVD or after its whole installing/updating process I just need to have the DVD in drive but it isn't actually running off of the DVD. Reason I ask is my drive is old, probably should upgrade but don't use enough CDs/DVDs to care to buy a new one.

I would download it, but 50 gigs download on my internet would take like 3 days. My internet gets nuked whenever I download.

Oh anyone running this game on similar specs? :

i3570k @ 3.4 GHz, 8 GB RAM, GTX 560 1 GB.

No, it will install and then you will only need Origin running (EA Client)
