Is this game like diablo 2?
and is it any good?

I have a review of it in my profile, so you can check that out. :D
It's a fun game, very simiar to Diablo and other action-RPGs. You can buy both it and its expansion for $20 on Steam.
It's extremely similar to Diablo 2. Is it any good? Sort of. I'd give it a 7.5. It's missing some really crucial things like random map generation and secure multiplayer. After you play through the game once (which doesn't take long), it's really hard to play through again because the repetition is dreadful, especially since the game is exactly the same as it is when you last played it. The multiplayer is useless (aside from LAN-style play) because everyone cheats. And the skill/class system is really half-assed.
The games only like 20 bucks for the gold edition. You really need to get the expansion pack... the game is pretty frustrating w/out it.
The good:
Capaign is freaking long, and there are plenty of different enemies and terrains to keep your first playthrough interesting
Cool boss fights... a few new bosses when you play the game on the second and third difficulty to make those playthroughs somewhat worth it.
Good graphics... not cutting edge but I think they look even better than D3 at this point, terrain and lighting are very well done
Tons of classes ... you have 7 classes and can combine any 2 leaving plenty of combinations.
Can respec ... only limitation is your gold
Lots and lots of loot... you can also transfer loot between alts using your caravan making alts and mules easy to use
The bad:
Multiplayer is pretty awful. I'd say its only worth it if you want to play co-op with someone you know, and be aware of the rampant cheaters.
As beautiful and long as the capaign is... its not randomized making it pretty boring after you've gone through it once or twice.
Loot isn't as inspired as diablo's is... but its still pretty good. Additionaly there are so many class combinations you tend to get loot that is completely useless pretty often.
Not all class combinations are good. Some classes are also much better than others and some are exceptionally weak ... mainly battlemage like classes.
Poorly supported (ie very few patches to balance the game)... even before Iron Lore went under.
Even if you go through the game once or twice the game will be worth it and will likely tide you over until D3. Overall it does some things much better than D2, but the serious lack of randomness and a strong MP system greatly limited the games longevity and popularity.
I actually just got it and myself with 3 friends played it Multiplayer over the weekend, it is a good time, and the character development (as in skills, builds) is quite extensive and gives you a lot of options. I would reccomend though taking some time to plan it out before hand, it can get quite expensive buying your pionts back.
But ya its 19.99 on steam for the game + expansion which you will want, the thing is however iron lore stopped patching the game at 1.1 v ... if you go online find the patch that is version 1.1.13rc i believe, it fixes a lot of online problems.
only big issue I have with Titan Quest is the multiplayer and economy. To get your set pieces and other uber items u want you prety much have to trade with ppl online, who more often than not cheat.
other than that its a pretty good game, can give u some great fun for 30-40 hours, or even more if u wanna go into legendary and collect items
