Tomshardware Results - more than 4 gigs of ram beneficial with core 7 processors

6 gigs of ram vs 3 shows a noticable difference , id like it to have been 4 vs 6 tho... still its interesting and breaks the "you dont need more than 4 gigs" mottra.. this is for the core 7 though, i guess their speed can utilize all that ram? ( im not an expert sorry lol)

Those games are already known to benefit with 4GB of RAM, I seriously doubt core i7 has anything to do with anything. They should have tested 4GB vs 6GB if they wanted their tests to mean something.

The benckmarks I saw for triple channel vs dual were not that impressive, certainly not compared to single vs dual.

More than 4 gigs of ram was beneficial before i7. Now it's just "more" beneficial and practical for gamers.
