Nah, you can still start Source. I wouldn't go with CS1.6 anymore though... Have fun!

I'd rather go with Unreal Tournament over that.

Its never to late for Team Fortress2 or Counterstrike Source bud!

Both awesome games!!

I will warn you though, Counterstrike Source might be a bit hard at first for ya. It takes awhile to get good at imo, but its still alot of fun even if you are getting pwned hehe. Im usually one of the top players for most FPS games online, but not counterstrike Source, still one of ym favs though!

Sorry, you missed it, the last CS:S server shutdown yesterday. Better luck next time. If you already have CS1.6 I wouldn't bother. If you never played CS, be careful if you are trigger happy, the game does have friendly fire. I'm trigger happy, so I prefer games with no friendly fire.

One more thing.... just stay with it if you get Counterstrike Souce man, it can be frusterating at first because people are soooo good at the game and you are just learning. But keep at it and youll improve and have a blast bud!

I don't know if Valve shutdown their CS:S servers or not, but it doesn't matter. Most servers are run by users. There are still thousands of players on every day.
As for friendly fire, that is a server setting. Some servers have it enabled, some don't.

Check it out, just be prepared to suck at first. Its just got a harder learning curve imo then other shooters, plus the competition on Counterstrike Source is very good.

That was a joke man. I was also getting at that all servers were shutdown even user servers. Once again it was just a joke. The servers are still up. Sorry to anyone else that believed it. As for what you said about friendly fire is true; I just wanted him to be aware of it .

Well, it was believable. I wouldn't be surprised if Valve shut down all their Official servers (if they even have any up right now), because people don't really bother with them.
