I just got it gifted, and i am curious if the only people who play it are hardcore no funny business sort of gamers.

Its not exacly a hardcore game. Its pretty easy to get into.

I saw it on Steam and was wondering if people are still playing it. I think I'll pass.

It's never too late for L&G since it never really got any hype; probably only Valve fans, Call of Juarez fans and Day of Defeat Source fans got hyped about that which it's not a lot of gamers, you'll see few servers running and that's about it; but it might be changed now that it's on Steam's sale for a 1.5$

there are tons of full servers from the steam sale, but the game is pretty easy to get into.
