too much vram and little system ram?

i have 4 gigs installed (vista 32bit) when i go to computer properties it says i have 4 gb when i go to Can You Run It? website it shows vram as 1.5 gb(9600 gt) and system ram as 2.5 gb i don't know how much system ram I am running ? yep i looked at task manager in "physical memory, Total ; it's 2557 :(?? i'm currently using half of my ram (48%, 1.20gb) with only firefox open . why? :(

I think its 'cause of the 32-bit OS.

also my board is gigabyte ga-g41m-es2l and it has a integrated graphics . could this be the problem? (i'm using 9600gt)

It should automatically disable the onboard but it looks like it hasn't. Go into the BIOS and disable it manually. Oh and you'll only see 3.5gb overall including VRAM and cache ect. If you want more get a 64bit OS.

i don't kno what to change in bios sorry coz they look correct to me this is what my bios says: onboard vga -is set to [ enable if no ext peg] other option [always enable] init display first -is set to [pci] other options [onboard] , [peg], any ideas?

If you can, buy 64 bit Vista. If not, download the 64 bit Windows 7 beta if it's still available. That'll hold you over until you can afford to buy Windows 7.

Without advising you to do anything illegal, you can get a copy off of many torrent sites. Note that it absolutely is legal to download the Release Copy because it was already being distributed for free. Just make sure its the release candidate if you dont wanna break the law.
