Knights of the Old Republic is my favorite Star Wars game by far. There are a few others that are worth checking out (maybe Jedi Academy), but I've found that there are generally better alternatives to Star Wars games in the same genre. Oh, and Star Wars: Republic Commando is a solid first-person shooter you should try out.
can't remember which one... Jedi Academy maybe the force powers made the game great to play. Force jump over someone, force pull UP... watch them splat 10 seconds later. awesome...
Kotor has a good story but horrible combat don't know combat is a major turn off and a reason I do not like the game. Academy has a decent story but combat is really fun and addictive to me. Best Star wars game out there imo.
