Yes! Look'it all dat juice!

My favorites would be Alex in the Half-Life 2 games, Wrex in Mass Effect, and the Vortigaunts from the Half-Life and Half-Life 2 games. I would like to give very special mention to the Elcor in Mass Effect which aren't really side kicks but a very cool species.

He's this guy from Deep Space Nine:

1. Alyx Vance from the Half-Life 2 series. She's sweet, she's funny and she's quite possibly the handiest sidekick I've ever had in a game
2. Magnus Armstrong from the No One Lives Forever series.
3. The minions from Overlord. Man those things are awesome!

1. Imoen and Nalia from BG II - Throne of Bhaal. Both of them were wrestling with the fact that they had great power during this period of the game, with Imoen being a Bhaalspawn and developing powers much like you (the protagonist) did, and Nalia progressing so far with the arcane arts that she reached a level that "few who have walked the Realms have achieved". I like how they seem scared of how powerful they've become though they hide it in different ways.

2. The trusty mercenary from Diablo 2 - Always put your equipment to good use, and feels much stronger now. :shock:

3. Dogmeat from Fallout - GROIN BITE!

Ralphie, from the game Mafia.

Alyx from half life has to be the best.

And I cant think of any more good notable ones.
