I'm in the market for a new headset/headphones. I'd like one with crisp sound and good bass. What do you guys use? And what would you guys recommend?

Note: It has to be a closed headset/headphone.

I use the Audio Technica ANC7. They are good if you have a loud PC.

$100 or less.

Any more would be too crazy for me. I'm not going to DJ with it or anything. It's just for gaming and movies.

Not bad. I have a plantronics headset but it's an inexpensive one, with no closed padding or anything, just a plain jane one. And the plastic part pushes on my ears.. Simply put, they're really uncomfortable. I like one with the big, closed padding.

I use the Senn. HD 280Pros, not bad for $65, but obviously there are way better things for more money. I recommend not getting a headset though. I've never researched them extensively, but if you just get a $5 mic from radio shack, you can spend all the money towards the headphones which are far more important. An equal costing headset will not be as good from what I've seen, and the good ones are pretty expensive, at which point you can get very good headphones for the same money.

These are the only ones that I could find that I think are worth $99 not including tax though.

Thanks man. Will do. The Senn's look nice. If I can find one for $65, I'll get it.

Yea those are the ones I have. I got them off Amazon.com back in Feb. Most of the places back then were $70-80, but seems they've gone back up. Hate that crap, my mouse was dying on me last week, so I decided to go for the G9 which I got for $60, but back in June you could find deals and rebates to get them at like $42, wish I needed a mouse then.

Haha ya I feel you. Back in December of 07 I bought the 8800GT for $289.99 then a month later it drops almost $80. These Headphone are pretty amazing too the price for Sennheiser's are usually really high.
